Ibrahim Fofanah is a Sierra Leonean Barrister and Solicitor specializing in intellectual property, innovation, and technology law. He is the Founder and Principal Counsel of Prext Intellectual Property, a Freetown-based firm advising local and international clients on protecting, managing, and commercializing their intellectual property assets in Sierra Leone and African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO).
Ibrahim’s practice covers trademark and industrial design prosecution, IP licensing and commercialization, and IP litigation before the High Court of Sierra Leone. He also advises on data protection compliance, artificial intelligence governance and emerging technology law.
Before founding Prext IP, Ibrahim practiced commercial and litigation law at reputable firms in Freetown, where he drafted commercial agreements, conducted legal research, and represented clients in court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

She graduated from the University of Makeni, where she laid the foundation for her legal career, and further honed her skills at the Sierra Leone Law School. Her education, combined with her practical experience, enables her to navigate the complexities of IP law effectively.
